Mahindra’s Charge_iN Partners with HPCL to Expand EV Charging Network Across India

RevwheelsEVNews3 weeks ago

Mahindra’s EV charging division, Charge_iN, has partnered with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) to expand electric vehicle charging infrastructure across India. As part of this tie-up, new EV charging stations will be set up at HPCL fuel pumps across the country. HPCL already has a strong presence with over 24,000 fuel stations and more than 5,400 EV charging points. By using this network, the aim is to make EV charging easier to find and more convenient for users.

The new charging stations will come with 180 kW fast chargers, which can charge electric cars quicker and help reduce waiting time. This is expected to make EV ownership more practical, especially for people who travel longer distances.

With more people considering electric vehicles, having better charging infrastructure is becoming increasingly important. This partnership is a step towards improving that ecosystem and making EVs more usable in everyday life.

Overall, Mahindra is looking to strengthen its charging network while supporting the shift towards cleaner and more sustainable mobility in India.
