Hyundai Venue and Venue N Line Score 5-Star Safety Rating at Bharat NCAP

Hyundai Motor India has announced that the new Venue and Venue N Line have secured a 5-star safety rating under Bharat NCAP, marking a strong step forward for the brand in the compact SUV segment.

Both models performed well in crash tests, delivering strong scores in adult and child occupant protection. The Venue recorded an adult protection score of 31.147, which is among the better results in its category.

A key factor behind this performance is the SUV’s updated structure. The Venue is built using a mix of high-strength and ultra-high-strength steel, designed to improve crash protection and overall rigidity.

Hyundai has also equipped the Venue with a wide range of safety features. The SUV comes with over 65 safety features, including 33 standard features across all variants. Key highlights include six airbags, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, all four disc brakes and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

On higher variants, the Venue also gets Level 2 ADAS features, with systems such as forward collision warning, lane assistance and other driver aids aimed at improving safety in everyday driving conditions.

Hyundai says the strong result reflects its focus on making advanced safety features more accessible to a wider set of buyers in India. The Venue has already been one of the brand’s popular compact SUVs, and this rating adds to its appeal for safety-conscious customers.

With a growing emphasis on safety in the Indian market, the 5-star Bharat NCAP rating puts the Venue among the better-rated options in its segment.
