VinFast Opens Bookings for VF MPV 7 Electric MPV in India
VinFast has officially opened bookings for its new VF MPV 7, marking the brand’s entry into the electric MPV segment in India. The booking amount has been set at ₹21,000, with reservations available through the company’s website and dealership network. The official launch and price announcement are scheduled for April 15, 2026.
The VF MPV 7 is positioned as a family-focused electric vehicle, offering a three-row seating layout designed to maximise space and comfort. With dimensions of 4,740 mm in length and a 2,840 mm wheelbase, the MPV aims to provide ample room across all three rows, making it suitable for larger families.
Powering the VF MPV 7 is a 60.13 kWh battery pack, which delivers a claimed range of over 500 km on a single charge. The model also supports fast charging, with the ability to charge from 10 to 70 percent in around 30 minutes, which should make it more practical for everyday use as well as longer journeys.
In terms of design, the MPV follows a typical modern layout with a focus on interior space. The wheels are pushed towards the corners to maximise cabin room, while 19-inch alloy wheels add to its road presence.
The VF MPV 7 becomes the third model from VinFast for the Indian market, following the introduction of its electric SUVs earlier. With this launch, the company is looking to expand its portfolio while also strengthening its presence in the country’s growing EV space.
VinFast has also been working on building a broader ecosystem around its vehicles, including dealership expansion, aftersales support and customer-focused programs aimed at easing the transition to electric mobility.
