Mahindra has launched a new, more indulgent version of its flagship electric SUV, the XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition, priced at ₹29.35 lakh (ex-showroom). The Cineluxe Edition is based on the top-spec Pack Three variant and focuses on elevating the in-cabin experience. It gets exclusive Satin Black and Satin White exterior shades paired with Chestnut Brown and Nocturne Black leatherette interiors, giving the SUV a more distinctive and upscale feel.
Inside, the highlight is a triple-screen dashboard combined with a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos support. An Infinity Roof with multi colour ambient lighting, AR head-up display, hands free park assist, digital key and Secure360 safety suite add to the tech heavy cabin aimed at buyers looking for a more premium EV experience
Mahindra has also packed the XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition with a host of convenience and safety tech aimed at everyday usability. Highlights include smart HVAC modes such as Pet Mode, Camp Mode, Keep Mode and Scheduled Cooling, along with a new Custom Drive Mode for personalised driving settings. On the safety front, the SUV gets Secure360 Pro along with a continuous DVR system, while convenience features include Digital Key, Approach Unlock, Walk-away Lock, Charge Scheduler and individual user profiles—all designed to make daily ownership more seamless and personalised.
The timing of the launch is significant. India’s premium EV space is getting crowded, and buyers are now looking beyond range alone—they expect strong tech, refined interiors and a sense of occasion,The XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition shows Mahindra pushing further into the premium electric SUV segment, Bookings opened on March 2, and deliveries are set to begin from March 10.
