For the first time in India, the Duster will be offered with a strong Hybrid E-Tech 160 powertrain, combining a 1.8-litre petrol engine with a 1.4 kWh battery. Renault claims the system allows up to 80 per cent electric driving in city conditions. Alongside the hybrid, the SUV will also be available with Turbo TCe 160 and Turbo TCe 100 petrol engines, paired with manual and dual-clutch automatic transmission options.
Design updates reflect a more rugged and modern approach while retaining the Duster’s core identity. The SUV features a muscular silhouette, LED lighting, bold wheel arches and a 212 mm ground clearance, along with improved approach and departure angles aimed at light off-road use.
Inside, the new Duster adopts a driver-focused layout with a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver display and connected technology powered by OpenR Link with Google built-in. Renault has also confirmed features such as ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control and advanced driver assistance systems.
Customer deliveries are expected to begin in April 2026, with hybrid variants scheduled for Diwali 2026.
