Hyundai Adds HX5+ Variant to Venue Line-up, Priced at Rs 9.99 Lakh
Hyundai India has introduced a new HX5+ variant to the recently updated Hyundai Venue range. The new variant is priced at ₹9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and is positioned between existing trims to expand options for buyers in the compact SUV segment.
The HX5+ variant is powered by Hyundai’s 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine, paired with a manual transmission.
What’s New in the HX5+ Variant
Compared to lower trims, the HX5+ adds a set of comfort and convenience features aimed at daily usability. These include:
Quad-beam LED headlamps
Roof rails
Rear window sunshade
Wireless smartphone charger
Driver-side armrest with storage
Rear wiper and washer
Driver power window with auto up/down and safety function
In addition to the HX5+ introduction, Hyundai has also updated the HX4 variant, which now gets driver seat height adjustment as standard.
Positioning in the Venue Range
The Venue remains one of Hyundai’s key products in the compact SUV space. With the addition of the HX5+ variant, the company appears to be filling feature gaps between trims rather than making mechanical changes.
No other updates to engines, transmissions or safety equipment have been announced as part of this revision.
