VinFast Expands India Footprint With 24 Dealerships, Targets 35 by Year-End

VinFast Auto India, the Indian arm of Vietnamese EV giant VinFast, has announced a major expansion milestone with 24 dealerships now operational across key cities in the country. The company remains on track to meet its goal of 35 dealerships nationwide by December 2025, marking rapid progress in its India launch strategy.

The new outlets — located in Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kochi, Jaipur, and other major cities — offer customers access to VinFast’s newly launched premium electric SUVs, the VF 6 and VF 7. Each showroom has been designed to VinFast’s global retail standards, focused on delivering transparent and seamless customer experiences.

As part of its India strategy, VinFast is building an integrated EV ecosystem across retail, charging, and after-sales support. The company has partnered with RoadGrid, myTVS, Castrol India, and Global Assure to create a nationwide infrastructure for charging and customer service.

Manufacturing Push in Tamil Nadu

Manufacturing Push in Tamil Nadu

VinFast’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu — spread across 400 acres — is a key pillar of its India growth plan. In its first phase, the plant will assemble the VF 6 and VF 7 with an annual capacity of 50,000 units, scalable up to 150,000 units. The facility is expected to create 3,000–3,500 direct jobs, along with thousands of indirect employment opportunities.

With rapid dealership rollout, strategic partnerships, and local manufacturing momentum, VinFast is positioning itself as a significant new competitor in India’s fast-growing electric vehicle market.
