Tata Motors has introduced Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in the Tata Nexon, to add further value to its most popular SUV.
The Tata Nexon has already achieved a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP. It’s also the only SUV with dual 5-star safety ratings from both GNCAP and BNCAP.
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV), one of India’s leading car manufacturers, has introduced Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in the Tata Nexon, further strengthening its position as the country’s safest and most popular SUV.
The Tata Nexon, which pioneered the safety revolution in India, was the first made-in-India car to achieve a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP. Today, it continues to uphold that legacy as the only SUV with dual 5-star safety ratings from both GNCAP and BNCAP.
New ADAS Features
The latest Nexon update adds a suite of ADAS features. These include:
• Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB)
• Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
• Lane Keep Assist (LKA)
• Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR)
• and several other intelligent assist systems
The ADAS tech was recently added to the Nexon EV and has now made its way into the Nexon petrol variant as well. It will be available only on the top spec Nexon variant with the DCT gearbox and will cost about Rs. 27000 more than the previous non-ADAS specced vehicle.
