Nissan has launched the all-new Nissan Gravite, a seven-seat MPV positioned as an affordable family vehicle. Prices start at an introductory ₹5.65 lakh (ex-showroom), with bookings now open across India.

The Gravite is manufactured locally in Chennai and marks the first model under Nissan’s renewed product strategy for India. It will be offered in four primary trims — Visia, Acenta, N-Connecta and Tekna — with both manual and AMT options available.

Power comes from a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 72 PS and 96 Nm, paired with a five-speed manual or five-speed AMT gearbox. Nissan claims fuel efficiency figures of 19.3 km/l (manual) and 19.6 km/l (AMT).

Inside, the Gravite offers flexible seating for two to seven occupants, with removable third-row seats. Boot capacity ranges from 84 litres in seven-seat configuration to 625 litres in five-seat mode.

Feature highlights include a 20.32 cm touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 17.78 cm digital instrument cluster, wireless charging and front and rear parking sensors. Safety equipment includes six airbags, electronic stability control, traction control and hill-start assist as standard.

The Gravite is available in five colour options and will also be offered in a limited Launch Edition with additional cosmetic and comfort features.

With this launch, Nissan strengthens its presence in the budget seven-seater segment, competing with established players in the entry-level MPV space.
