Hero Glamour X Review – The Do-It-All 125
The 125cc motorcycle segment is heating up fast, and Hero’s answer is the all-new Glamour X — a familiar name now reborn with a sharper design, smarter tech, and a long list of segment-first features. Let’s see if it lives up to its “do-it-all” promise.
Hero wanted the new Glamour X to have a commanding road presence, and it does. The front gets a tall visor and an LED headlamp with the signature H-pattern DRL. The muscular fuel tank with extended shrouds gives it a sporty look, complemented by a chrome-accented center panel and a neat belly pan.
At the rear, the LED tail lamp mirrors the H-pattern, maintaining visual consistency. The overall styling feels bold and premium — perfect for riders who want practicality without compromising on flair.
Ergonomically, the Glamour X feels well thought out. The handlebar is now 30mm wider, offering relaxed and confident control. Forward-set footpegs ensure zero knee strain, while the accessible 790 mm seat height makes it easy for riders of all sizes. Even the pillion gets a wider and more supportive seat base.
This is where the Glamour X truly outclasses its rivals. It packs in:
• A full-colour LCD display with Bluetooth and turn-by-turn navigation
• Ride-by-wire throttle and three ride modes — Eco, Road, and Power
• Cruise control, a segment-first
• Gear position indicator, distance-to-empty, and ambient light sensor
• Panic brake alert that warns vehicles behind during sudden braking
• Under-seat enclosed storage box with space for two phones, a tool kit, and a first-aid kit
• Type-C USB fast charging port (2A)
• And even a kick starter despite being fuel-injected
That’s a feature list that shames many higher-capacity motorcycles.
The Glamour X is powered by a 124.7cc single-cylinder engine producing 11.4 bhp and 10.5 Nm. Refinement and tractability remain Hero’s strengths, and the additional ride modes make this commuter genuinely versatile — from efficient city runs to relaxed highway cruising.
With a balanced chassis setup, wide handlebar, and compliant suspension, the Glamour X feels planted yet agile. The ride quality is comfortable, while the handling inspires confidence whether in traffic or twisties.
At ₹89,999 for the drum variant and ₹99,999 for the disc, the Glamour X goes head-to-head with the Honda SP 125 and TVS Raider 125 — and easily outclasses them in features and tech.
Stylish, loaded, and extremely well-priced, the Hero Glamour X proves that a commuter can be both smart and exciting. It’s not just a daily ride — it’s an all-rounder that’s ready for anything.
