Ducati India has delivered the actual 2023 World Superbike Championship–winning Panigale V4 R to Mumbai, marking a rare moment for motorsport enthusiasts in India. The motorcycle is part of a private collection and was recently showcased at a closed-door event for select guests.
The Panigale V4 R delivered to India is not a replica but the race motorcycle ridden by Álvaro Bautista during his dominant 2023 WorldSBK campaign with the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati factory team. Finished in its championship-winning Giallo Yellow livery, the motorcycle represents one of the most successful seasons in WorldSBK history.
A Record-Breaking 2023 Season
Bautista’s 2023 season stands among the most dominant ever recorded in the World Superbike Championship. He secured 27 race wins, 31 podium finishes, and accumulated a record 628 points, clinching the championship with several rounds remaining. The season also featured an 11-race winning streak and 23 fastest laps, both setting new benchmarks.
The results helped Ducati achieve its highest number of wins by a single manufacturer in a WorldSBK season, reinforcing the Panigale V4 R’s position as the reference machine in production-based racing.

Developed by Ducati Corse, the Panigale V4 R WorldSBK race bike is built around a high-revving Desmosedici Stradale R engine, advanced electronics, race-developed aerodynamics derived from MotoGP, and a purpose-built chassis. These elements combined to deliver consistent performance across the 2023 season.
