The roar of the racetrack has found a new home in India—right on the wrist. In a significant move to expand its lifestyle footprint, legendary Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has joined forces with Titan Company Limited to launch its official collection of watches in the country.
Engineering Meets Aesthetics
Unveiled today at Mumbai’s Bayview Lawns, the new collection features 43 distinct timepieces designed to mirror the “rush” of Ducati’s racing heritage. True to the brand’s manifesto of “Style, Sophistication, and Performance,” the watches incorporate design elements straight from the superbikes. Enthusiasts can expect instrumentation-style dials, signature deep red accents, and aerodynamic case shapes that mimic the angular lines of a Ducati machine. The range is built to feel like a piece of the motorcycle itself, translating the language of the track into contemporary horology.
Strategic Expansion with Titan
To ensure these timepieces reach petrolheads across the nation, Ducati has appointed Titan as its exclusive licensing partner for retail and distribution. The collection, priced starting at ₹15,000, targets a premium yet accessible entry point into the brand’s ecosystem. By leveraging Titan’s vast network—including Helios, Titan World, and major e-commerce platforms—Ducati aims to make its brand of precision accessible to a wider audience beyond just motorcycle owners.
A New Lifestyle Chapter
Executives from both companies highlighted the emotional connection of the brand. Alessandro Cicognani, Ducati’s Head of Brand Licensing, noted that the collection allows fans to carry the “Ducati rush” with them daily. Meanwhile, Kuruvilla Markose, CEO of Titan Watches, emphasized that the partnership fills a long-standing gap for authentic Ducati merchandise in India.
As Indian consumers increasingly pivot toward premium international lifestyle brands, this collaboration marks a timely evolution for Ducati, transforming it from a pure automotive marque into a daily style statement.
