Aprilia Racing Unveils RS-GP26 and Confirms Rider Line-up for 2026 MotoGP Season

Aprilia Racing has officially launched its RS-GP26 MotoGP machine and confirmed its rider line-up for the 2026 season, marking the start of what the Italian manufacturer hopes will be another competitive year in the championship.

The unveiling took place at the Sky Studios in Milan, where Aprilia also revealed a revised livery featuring a prominent lion graphic. The symbol references the brand’s roots in the Veneto region and replaces previous design elements while retaining Aprilia Racing’s traditional colours.

Aprilia enters 2026 following its strongest MotoGP season to date. In 2025, the team finished second in the Manufacturers’ Championship with 418 points and secured third place in the Riders’ Championship through Marco Bezzecchi, who delivered the best individual season in the team’s MotoGP history. The campaign included 19 podium finishes, multiple race wins and a milestone 300th Grand Prix victory for the manufacturer.

Bezzecchi will again lead the factory effort in 2026, joined by Jorge Martín, who returns after an injury-affected 2025 season. The Spanish rider will race with number 89 and is expected to play a key role in Aprilia’s development programme.

The RS-GP26 represents the latest evolution of Aprilia’s MotoGP project, with updates across aerodynamics, chassis design, electronics and its 1000cc V4 engine. The bike also marks the final phase of the current technical regulations, with MotoGP set to introduce major changes from 2027.

Aprilia will continue to receive support from test rider Lorenzo Savadori, while data and development input will also come from the Trackhouse MotoGP Team, reinforcing the manufacturer’s push to remain competitive throughout the 2026 season.
